India will be boycotted everywhere: Salman

Bangladesh is witnessing the worst floods in memory due to continuous rains and India's opening of Dambur and Ghazaldoba dams. In this, the lives of hundreds of thousands of people in 9 districts of the country are facing disaster. So far, at least 17 lakh 96 thousand 248 people have been affected by floods in 6 districts of the country. Besides, one person died after drowning in Feni.

In such a situation, anti-India slogans have once again been raised in Bangladesh. Across the country, students gathered in educational institutions blaming neighboring India for the flash floods. So popular YouTuber and actor Salman Muktadi opened up about Indian aggression. He raised the call of boycott as a protest.

Earlier on Wednesday, when the flood situation worsened in some districts of Bangladesh, Salman appeared with a Facebook status related to India at 3 am. Coming there, he said as a promise, 'I will come live today (Thursday) at two o'clock in the afternoon and give a gift to India.' So Salman came to Facebook on time and shared a video. There, he gave some suggestions on how to boycott India.

At the beginning of the video, Salman said, 'India has been bullying Bangladesh for years. Dictators have cherished them for years with their sons-in-law from Bangladesh. I want to tell the truth to Bangladeshis, almost everything you see in shopping malls, products, and businesses in Bangladesh is from India. Many of the products there are imported from India. Even Bangladesh has Indian factories almost everywhere. Coming to Bangladesh, Indians are not only doing jobs, they have been taking money from the jobs for years. The remittances that we receive, that money is taken out in a huge cash; As all our money has gone to India, there is no more money in the country.'

Salman said, 'The media is coming next. All the media in India, the TV that went against us by teasing us, every ad of them is still running comfortably in our media. All in all, we are giving them the benefits.'

Salman said, 'The Indian government does not treat the people of India properly. The people are fed up with the torture of the government of that country. Indian government has made 60-70 thousand tribals of their country homeless to build a dam. It is a dam, the people of Bangladesh are drowning to open the dam. Maybe more people will die. After 48 years, India opened the dam like this. India deliberately opened the dam without warning. Meanwhile, we have not been able to prepare or rescue, so the government of India should understand, Bangladesh should also know – we are not puppets of anyone.'

As promised by Salman, the actor said, 'I can't give the gift that I was going to give alone, but it is very simple. At least for a month, if we have the least bit of shame, if we really want to do something, we should stop buying every Indian product. All the cable operators in Bangladesh, who control the television channels, have to tell them that you will not broadcast any Indian channels and advertisements. If advertising is to be done, the entire money from Indian advertising should go towards funding the flood victims. Because this is the case for Indians today. Every product that India has should be closed at least for a month to show that we are not puppets of anyone, we are not dependent on anyone; Only we will stand on our own feet.'

Finally, Salman said, 'I am discussing India before the flood discussion, because every time there is a flood, when bad times come, do only celebrities come and make videos, fund, and then go to the rescue? All of us, artists, government, every person will abstain from Indian products, thus giving a gift to India; We are not puppets of India just to show it.'
