The teachers and officials of IUBAT gave one day's salary to the flood victims

The teachers and officials of the country's first private university International University of Business Agriculture and Technology (IUBAT) have decided to pay one day's salary in support of flood affected people.

This decision was taken in an emergency general meeting held on Saturday (August 24) under the chairmanship of IUBAT Vice-Chancellor Professor Abdur Rob. This was confirmed in a notification sent by the Public Relations Department of IUBAT. It is said that the teachers and officials of IUBAT will give an amount equal to their one day's salary to help the flood affected people.

The notification also said that the IUBAT family is always dedicated to the work of humanity. Teachers and officials are proud to have done something for the country during this crisis.

It should be noted that academician Professor Dr. M Alimullah Mian established IUBAT as the country's first private university in 1991, which has been making significant contributions to human resource development through higher education. The activities of this university are being conducted in its own permanent and green campus in a pleasant environment in Sector No. 10, Uttara, Dhaka.
