Bangladesh cricket team captain Nazmul Hossain Shanto dedicated the historic 10-wicket victory against Pakistan in Rawalpindi to the martyrs who died in the recent student movement in the country. And Man of the Match Mushfiqur Rahim gave his prize money to the flood affected people.

Dedicating the victory to the martyrs who died in the student movement, Bangladesh captain Shanto said, “We are dedicating this victory to the victims of the recent student movement in Bangladesh.”

About the win on his birthday, he said, 'Alhamdulillah for the win. This is a special win. I was talking to my wife last night. He was saying, tomorrow (today) will be a very good day if you win. We were lucky, Alhamdulillah, to win the match. This is our historic day. It's a big win.'

Bangladesh captain said, 'We have never won, but before the start of this series there was a belief that we can win this time. Not just me, everyone in the team was confident and they all showed their potential. I am proud of everyone. Especially, last 10-15 days we worked hard together. That's why I won today.'

He said about the bowling, 'The seamers bowled well. Both Shakib and Miraj are experienced and know how to bowl the right length and line. Both of them have managed to match the skills perfectly. Hopefully they will retain their form.'

Man of the match Mushfiqur said calmly about Rahim, 'For the last 15-17 years, he has developed himself in the same way and does his work every day. He never felt tired of doing the same thing over and over again. We may have won because of the way he batted in this summer. Of course I want to give credit to all 15 people. We got this victory because of all their hard work.'
