Advisors blocked by Ansar, students going to secretariat

Due to the movement of Ansar members, the officials and employees of various ministries and departments working in the heart of the administration have been blocked for 8 and a half hours. Many of them are starving now. Even if they ran from this gate to that gate to get out, they could not get out. However, the students are going towards the secretariat to rescue the advisors and coordinators who were blocked by the agitating Ansar members.

On Sunday (August 25) around 8:30 pm, some of the anti-discrimination student movement posted on Facebook and the students left for TSC. Students gathered at the Raju sculpture with sticks from different halls. They also gave different slogans in small and big groups. At this time, the students chanted slogans of 'Hasina brokers-warning', 'dictatorship brokers-warning'.

Earlier in a Facebook post, coordinator Hasnat Abdullah said, 'Everyone comes to Raju. Autocracy wants to come back as Ansar. All of us have been detained in the secretariat despite the demands being accepted.'

Meanwhile, many of the besieged officials and employees are starving. The canteens inside the secretariat are empty. The officials and employees are in trouble.

Incidentally, Ansar members were protesting in front of the secretariat since this morning demanding the nationalization of jobs. At one point, a group of protesting Ansars entered the secretariat at noon. They entered the secretariat through gate number three, ignoring the obstacles of law and order forces. Later, Home Affairs Advisor Lt. General (Retd.) Md. When Jahangir Alam Chowdhury assured to accept the demands of their representatives, it was announced to suspend the movement. But after a while, Ansar members started the movement again. They announced that they will continue the agitation until their demands are met.
