3 points of anti-discrimination student movement after clash with Ansar

After the clash with Ansar members in front of the secretariat, the coordinators and students of the anti-discrimination student movement returned to the Dhaka University (DU) area and made 3-point demands to the interim government. They announced these three points at the foot of the Raju sculpture on Sunday (August 25) around 11:30 pm.

Referring to the demand, the coordinator of the anti-discrimination student movement, Abu Bakr Majumdar, said that the government should bear the medical expenses of the students injured in the clash with the protesting Ansar members. Those who attacked the students should be arrested within 24 hours. And clean operations at all levels of government should be carried out to identify and bring to justice the accomplices of fascism.

Then Sarjis Alam, one of the main faces of the anti-discrimination student movement, gave a speech. He said, “I want to tell the vultures that if they stay around the secretariat from today onwards, the students will be watched.”

The coordinator also said that those who hypocritically blockaded the secretariat in the name of rights within a few days of the people's coup, are agents of dictatorship. We are not leaving the streets until those who attacked our brothers are brought to justice. I want to warn the vultures. If I raise my hand to my brother, he will cease to exist.
