The Los Angeles Clippers will enter the 2024-25 season with a fresh start. The team will play in its brand new, state-of-the-art arena, the Intuit Dome, in Inglewood, California.

The Clippers will look to establish themselves as one of the top draws in a city with no shortage of professional sports franchises. They hope that this new arena will spark a surge of fan interest.
On top of that, the Clippers’ roster looks vastly different from the previous season. Amid several changes, the Clippers still have one of the best players in the league when he’s healthy: superstar forward Kawhi Leonard.
Leonard will enter his sixth season in Los Angeles and will look to stay healthy. He has struggled to stay on the floor for an extended period of time, especially in the playoffs, these past few years.
Health will be the biggest question for Leonard this season, but as we approach the new season, according to Clippers head coach Tyronn Lue, the 33-year-old will be ready to tip off the season.

Lue provided an update on Leonard to ESPN last week and said he will be ready for training camp.
“I speak to him all the time,” Lue told ESPN last week. “He’ll be ready for [Clippers] training camp. He’s feeling good and I know he’ll be ready for training camp.”
This past season was significant for Leonard and the Clippers. He agreed to terms with L.A. on a three-year, $153 million extension through the 2026-27 season. This move was a bit risky, as Leonard has struggled to remain healthy in his Hall of Fame career.
This past season, Leonard was sidelined for most of the Clippers’ first-round series against the Dallas Mavericks due to injuries. It was the fourth consecutive season in which injuries have kept Leoanrd from reaching his true potential as a basketball player, and his status as one of the very best to grace the court.
Despite all of Leonard’s health issues, he remains a six-time NBA All-Star, two-time NBA champion, six-time All-NBA, seven-time All-Defense, two-time Finals MVP, two-time Defensive Player of the Year, All-Star MVP, and member of the NBA 75th Anniversary team.
The Southern California native will look to turn his and the Clippers’ fortunes around this upcoming season.
