Cutdown day is over, and every team in the National Football league has narrowed down its initial roster to 53 players.
However, every team can still make changes as the season moves forward, and the Las Vegas Raiders have already made a cut one day after they announced their 53-,an roster.

Young was drafted by Las Vegas in the third round — 70th overall — of the 2023 NFL Draft. He soon found himself on the physically unable to perform (PUP) list on July 21, 2023.
Young was activated after passing a physical on Aug. 6. In his rookie season, Young played six games and recorded four tackles.
Across three preseason games this year, Young recorded three total tackles and one sack.
His NFL output is particularly small compared to his output at Alabama in the NCAA. He had a standout season in his senior year, recording 48 total tackles, four sacks, two pass deflections, and one forced fumble.
In four seasons with Alabama, Young had 139 total tackles, eight sacks, three pass deflections, one fumble recovery, and one forced fumble.
Young was one of five defensive tackles who made the initial 53-man roster for the Raiders. Other players on the defensive line include John Jenkins, Christian Wilkins, Adam Butler, and Nesta Jade Silvera.
The Raiders also signed former Indianapolis Colts defensive tackle Jonah Laulu off waivers. On top of that, Las Vegas has seven linebackers and six cornerbacks.
Needless to say, the Raiders have plenty of depth on defense. But you can never have too much…
Raiders Sign Veteran Cornerback Darnay Holmes
NFL insider Jordan Schultz has reported that Las Vegas is finalizing an agreement with former New York Giants cornerback Darnay Holmes to join the active roster.
Holmes began his football career with UCLA where he recorded 121 total tackles, eight interceptions, two touchdowns, 20 pass deflections, two forced fumbles, and two fumble recoveries over three seasons.
Holmes left UCLA his senior year and declared for the 2020 NFL Draft. He was selected in the fourth round with the 110th overall pick.
In four seasons with the Giants, Holmes has recorded 115 tackles, 18 pass deflections, four quarterback hits, four interceptions, two forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery.
This deal will reunite Holmes with defensive coordinator Patrick Graham, who worked with the Giants from 2020-21.
