Human chain for trial of fake freedom fighters and cancellation of charter

Human chain and protest program was held to demand trial and cancellation of charter of fake freedom fighters in Gala village of Tangail. This program was organized on the initiative of students and people from all walks of life at Gala Bazar on Friday morning.

Program chief coordinator Tarek Hasan, president of Gala Bazar Samity Shamsul Haque, social worker Anisur Rahman Uttam, Mohammad Ali Jinnah and others spoke.

The speakers said that earlier there were 3/4 freedom fighters in Gala village. There have been at least 18 freedom fighters during the tenure of the previous government. A humble request to the Interim Government should be investigated and all fake freedom fighters should be brought under the law along with the cancellation of their certificates.

Also, the speakers wished for the salvation of the souls of those who were martyred in the anti-discrimination student movement and wished for the recovery of the injured.
