Tragic death of youth while traveling with friends

He fell from the roof of the train while traveling with his friends in Feni. A young man named Rabiul Islam Rabi (20) has died.

He died after falling from the roof of a Chittagong-bound mail train at Kalidah area of ​​Sadar Upazila around 9 am on Friday (August 30).

Killed Rabiul Comilla Kachua area Md. Younger son of Dulal Hossain. He used to work as an operator in a fake factory in Suyagazi area of ​​Comilla.

According to the sources of eyewitnesses and relatives of the deceased, Rabiul and five friends boarded the Chittagong-bound mail train from Comilla to visit the fountain in Sitakunda on Friday morning. When they reached the Feni railway station around 8:30 am, they climbed onto the roof of the train. When the train was crossing the Kalidah area, Rabiul hit a tree standing on the roof and fell down. Later the locals rescued him and took him to Feni General Hospital where the doctor on duty declared him dead.

Rabiul's friend Fahim said, seeing many people get on the roof of the train, we also get up and sit together for extra pleasure. As the train crossed the Kalidah area, Rabiul stood up from his seat. Before we asked him to sit down, he hit a tree branch and fell down. After going to Sitakunda, when the train stopped, we rushed to Feni General Hospital.

Forkan Hossain Bappi, brother-in-law of the deceased, said that Rabiul was the youngest among the three brothers and sisters. At around 10:30 in the morning, I came to the hospital after hearing the news of his death through a friend. I can't accept him leaving like this.

Feni General Hospital emergency department doctor Farzana Akhtar said that he died before being brought to the hospital. The victim sustained injuries on his head, neck and legs.

In this regard, Feni Railway Police Outpost in-charge Jahangir Alam said, after falling from the roof of the train, local people took him to the hospital. The doctor declared dead and sent the body to the morgue. The process of taking legal action in this regard is underway.
