Recently, a video of a pile of frozen bodies in a van went viral on social media. The video was of some of the people killed during the anti-discrimination student movement. whose names are not yet known.

However, after the video went viral, questions arose as to where the incident took place. Later, the fact check organization Rumor Scan reported that the incident of pile of frozen bodies in the van was in the area adjacent to Ashulia police station in Savar, Dhaka. The company confirmed the matter on Friday (August 30) night.

In the viral video, several dead bodies are piled up in a van. Besides, another body is being transferred by the police to the van. The bodies were later covered with a poster. At this time, some other policemen are also seen walking around.

According to Rheumare Scan, the much-discussed video of the pile of frozen bodies happened in the area adjacent to Ashulia police station. This incident happened on the afternoon of August 5. Besides, two people living around the scene claimed that the poster seen on the wall of the video is Abul Hossain Bhuiyan, candidate for ward number 7 of Dhamsona Union of Ashulia. It is known that this poster on the wall is no more. Immediately after August 5, all the walls were repainted.

Incidentally, the general students of various universities have been protesting since last July demanding the reform of the quota system for entering government jobs. In this situation, on July 15, Chhatra League repeatedly attacked ordinary students in some universities including the capital Dhaka. At the same time, the police opened fire to quell the students' agitation.

Later, on August 4, there were reports of hundreds of people killed in clashes with government-backed leaders and activists and protesters with the police around a phase of the anti-discrimination student movement. In this situation, Sheikh Hasina left the country on August 5 and went to India. After this, the leaders and activists of Awami League and various allied organizations of the party also left the country.

Later, law enforcement forces increased surveillance. It is tough to prevent any type of criminal from escaping the country. Even cases of murder, torture, irregularity and corruption are being filed in different parts of the country. In those cases, many leaders and activists of the Awami League and the party's affiliated organizations, including the administration, have been made accused. Even some former ministers and MPs have already been arrested in those cases.
