Navy personnel arrested seven people while smuggling electrical cables worth around Tk 15 crore from Matarbari Thermal Power Plant in Maheshkhali, Cox's Bazar. They were arrested yesterday Saturday night. On suspicion of being involved in this incident, the law enforcement forces arrested the managing director (MD) of the power plant from Shahjalal International Airport while fleeing abroad on Sunday afternoon. details
