Defamation case against Sheikh Hasina-Kader

Former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, former Minister of Roads and Bridges Obaidul Quader and Ulipur Upazila Animal Resources Officer Dr. A defamation case has been filed in the Kurigram Chief Judicial Magistrate's Court in the name of Rezwanul Haque. Upazila BNP member Manjurul Quader (Mominul) filed this case in the court of Senior Judicial Magistrate Farhana Khan on Sunday (September 1).

Peshkar Rafiqul Islam said about the petition, upazila animal resource officer Dr. Despite being a government employee, Rezwanul Haque always worked under the direct and indirect instructions of Hasina and Quader instead of doing public work. May 15 in the upazila animal resources office in the presence of volunteer members of artificial reproduction, animal husbandry and artificial reproduction workers, Dr. Rezwanul Haque made various kinds of ugly insults about BNP founder Ziaur Rahman and chairperson Khaleda Zia.

When a complaint was lodged at the Ulipur police station, the police did not take any legal action. So Mominul was forced to file a petition in the court.

Claiming compensation for defamation and exemplary punishment of the defendants, the plaintiff Mominul Islam said, I and my leader and leader have suffered considerable loss of dignity and respect due to abusive language including provocative speech.

Peshkar Rafiqul Islam said that the court ordered the officer-in-charge of Ulipur police station to submit a report to investigate the incident. The learned judge will pass further orders in the case subject to the receipt of the investigation report.
