Deceased Tanya Afroz is the daughter of Abu Hasan, a former teacher of Shipyard School in Khulna city. His in-laws are in Manoharpur village of Kumarkhali upazila in Kushtia. Her husband's name is Aslam Uddin Quddus. He has been in Italy for a long time. Recently he got green passport of Italy.

Tania Afroz's relative Reza confirmed this information by coming to Kashiani Upazila Health Complex on Sunday afternoon to collect the bodies of the deceased. He said, Tanya is my cousin. She has an eight-year-old daughter. Her husband recently got a green passport in Italy. There was talk that Tanya would go to her husband in a few days. all right Today I was going to Dhaka for visa work. Leaving her daughter at her father's house, she was going to Dhaka with her mother. At 6:30 in the morning, Imad left in a transport vehicle. After 8:30 am we got news that their car had an accident. I still didn't know that Tanya or her mother had died. We were first confirmed by the news that Tania's mother had passed away. I came to know that Tanya died after being taken to Faridpur Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical College Hospital.

He also said that they were supposed to return in the afternoon after finishing work in Dhaka. Now it is returning as a corpse.

Earlier, the accident took place at Majhigati area of ​​Kashiani upazila on Dhaka-Khulna highway around 8:30 am. Five people were killed on the spot. 10 others were seriously injured. Another person died in Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical College Hospital while undergoing treatment. The death toll stands at six.

The matter was confirmed by Kashiani Fire Service Station Master Rezaul Mawla and Kashiani Thana Police Deputy Inspector Salim Mia.

Among the dead, the remaining four are – Raheez Sheikh (24), son of Motaleb Sheikh of Sultanshahi village in Gopalganj Sadar, Syed Samad Ali (31), son of Syed Ershad Ali of Satali village in Satkhira Sadar, A. Samad Gazi's son Saidur Rahman (44) and son of Hashir Molya of Sarulia village of Mollahat upazila of the same district. Sagar Molya (24).

Rezaul Maola, station master of Kashiani Fire Service, said that at around 7:45 in the morning, there was a head-on collision with a Dhaka-bound Imad Paribahan leaving from Khulna in the Majhigati area of ​​Kashiani Upazila on the Dhaka-Khulna highway. At this time, the bus overturned. Five people including a woman were killed on the spot. Police and fire service personnel reached the spot after receiving information from the locals and recovered the bodies of five people including a woman. The deceased Tanya Afroz was taken to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical College Hospital where the doctor on duty declared her dead. Apart from this, 10 people were rescued with serious injuries.

An eyewitness said that after hearing a loud noise in the morning, he rushed to the spot and saw a collision between a bus and a truck of Imad Paribahan. One side of the bus is twisted and lying in the ditch next to it. When I looked inside, I saw that all the five passengers in the five seats on the right side were killed on the spot. Many of the remaining passengers are suffering from serious injuries. After informing the police and fire service, they came and rescued the injured with the help of locals.

Kashiani police sub-inspector Salim Miah said that around 8:30 this morning, a head-on collision between Imad Paribahan and a truck took place in Majhigati area of ​​Kashiani upazila on the Dhaka-Khulna highway. After receiving the information from the locals, we rushed to the spot and carried out the rescue work with the help of the fire service personnel. At that time, we recovered the bodies of five passengers in the bus. Several people were rescued with serious injuries and sent to different hospitals for treatment. Another woman died at Faridpur Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical College Hospital while undergoing treatment around noon. With this, the total number of dead increased to six. The body has been handed over to the relatives of the deceased. The bus and truck involved in the accident have been impounded. Bhatiapara Highway Police will take legal action in this regard.
