The bodies of 4 missing persons were recovered

The bodies of four people who went missing in the boat sinking incident on Sunday (September 1) have been recovered at Char Mazhardiar in Padma, Rajshahi.

On Monday (September 2) around 10 o'clock at night, the locals first recovered the bodies of two people from Char Khanpur. Later, at around three o'clock in the night, when the bodies of two more bodies were found, their bodies were also recovered.

The deceased are Raju (22), Sabuj (20), Farooq (19) and Mohammad Ali (38) of Char Mazardiya area. All of them are residents of Char Mazhardiyar.

Before this, 16 farmers and laborers were returning from one pasture to another after working in the tomato fields in two small boats through the Padma river around 8 o'clock on Sunday night.

At this time, 1 boat sank when it was near Char Mazhardia Ghat. Out of 10 people in the boat, 6 managed to swim to the river bank but 4 went missing.
