Sheikh Mujib declared three lakhs as three lakhs: Brigadier Azmi

Former Brigadier General Abdullahil Aman Azmi of Bangladesh Army spoke to the media after coming out of the mirror.

He appeared in a virtual press conference today at around 11 o'clock on Tuesday and described how he was treated by special forces in plain clothes on the day of his arrest. He describes how he spent his time in the mirror. At the same time, he raised several demands to the interim government.

Some of the demands include – The correct history of Bangladesh about the liberation war should be presented to the people. Let the national anthem be rewritten. The constitution of the country should be written in a new way. Those who have brought freedom to the country should be honored.

Brigadier Azmi said about the freedom fighters of 1971, Sheikh Mujibur Rahman published the number of martyrs of the liberation war without any survey. The nation still does not know the exact number of people who died in a war.

Referring to a survey on the number of martyrs, Brigadier Azmi said, a survey was conducted in which the number of martyrs was known to be 2 lakh 86 thousand, but Sheikh Mujibur Rahman said 3 lakh and said 3 million.

In the press conference, Brigadier Azmi said that the national anthem of Bangladesh should be rewritten. India made the national anthem that is playing today. This national anthem was made to unite the two Bengals. Bangladesh has become independent so the national anthem of Bangladesh should be new.

It is to be noted that former Brigadier General Abdullahil Aman Azmi, son of late Ghulam Azam, ex-emir of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, was released from jail on August 6.
