It was Bangladesh's biggest Test series win since Bangladesh's Test debut against India on 26 June 2000. So far, Bangladesh has won a total of 21 Test matches. Many test series are also won but the importance and significance of this victory is truly unforgettable.

Millions of Bangladeshis dreamed of winning the 2nd Test after Bangladesh won the first Test on the tour of Pakistan. The cricketers did not disappoint in this journey. They have won the hearts of the people of this country by winning two matches in a row against the powerful Pakistan. Congratulations to Bangladesh cricket team.

The five-day Test match was abandoned without a single ball being bowled due to rain on the first day. The match basically turned into four days. Pakistan were bowled out for a total of 274 runs on the second day. Mehdi Miraj took 5 wickets. In response, Bangladesh lost 6 wickets for just 26 runs in their first innings. From there, Mehdi Miraj and Liton Das gave an innings of a heroic 165-run partnership for the 7th wicket. Mehdi Mirage was dismissed for 78 but Lytton brought up an epic century (138).

Pakistan got a lead of 12 runs in the first innings when Bangladesh were all out for 262 runs. Pakistan were bowled out for just 172 runs in the 2nd innings. Hasan Mahmood took 5 wickets and Nahid Rana took 4 wickets. Bangladesh gets a lead of 184 runs. Bangladesh started playing in the 2nd innings. Tigers reached the port of victory by losing only 4 wickets. Zakir 40 and skipper Shant 38 runs. Experienced Mushfiq and Shakib Al Hasan made no mistake and brought Bangladesh the happiness of Bangla Wash.

Earlier in 2009, under the leadership of Shakib Al Hasan, the West Indies were whitewashed by winning both the 2-match Test series on foreign soil for the first time. Last year, they won a Test match against New Zealand at their home ground, but the series was drawn. This time, Bangladesh showed extraordinary skill in all categories of batting, bowling, and fielding, and thrashed Pakistan.
