So far 800 names of martyrs have been found: Nahid Islam

Information advisor Nahid Islam said that the country will remember those who were martyred in the movement. We are alive for martyrs. I can speak freely. Many unnamed students were martyred in this movement. They are being listed. So far 800 names have been found.

Nahid said these things while visiting the house of Ahnaf, a college student who was killed in the uprising of students in Mirpur's Paikpara on Wednesday.

The information adviser said that the responsibility of the new Bangladesh gained in exchange of the blood of the students had to be accepted. Today we got a new independent Bangladesh as a result of the sacrifice of the students who took to the streets in the mass uprising. A memorial service will be held soon with all the family members of the martyrs. Your presence there is desirable.

The information advisor inquires about Ahnaf's younger brother's studies and promises to stand by the family anytime, in any need from now on. Ahnaf's mother, father, two brothers and aunt were present at the house.

It is to be noted that Shaheed Shafiq Uddin Ahmed Ahnaf (17), a class 11 student of BAF Shaheen College in the capital, was shot dead by the police in Mirpur-10 on August 4 during the anti-discrimination student movement.
