Death of 5th class schoolgirl due to poisoning in Manikchari

A 5th class schoolgirl named Mehrun Nesha (13) died of poisoning in Manikchari of Khagrachari. The incident took place in Garamchari area of ​​the upazila on Friday (September 6) afternoon. Meherun Garamchari area, who died. Belal Hossain's only daughter and a 5th standard student.

According to family sources, Meherun went to a nearby mall as the school was closed on Friday. Go to grandfather's house without coming home from there. When his mother scolded him for not being able to do the housework due to illness, he secretly drank the poison in the house out of pride. Later, when he was informed by other family members, he was taken to Manikachari Upazila Health Complex later in the evening and the doctor on duty declared him dead.

Confirming the truth of the incident, Manikchari police station OC (Investigation) Azgar Ali said that initially it is believed to be suicide. However, the actual cause of death will be known after the autopsy.
