The cost of internet and mobile services sector – Bangladesh Diplomat

Internet and mobile service costs are decreasing. The proposal budget has proposed to reduce taxes in these sectors.

Finance Advisor Dr. presented the proposed budget of Tk. Salehuddin Ahmed. He presented a budget of Tk 1 lakh 5 thousand 5 crore in front of the nation.

National budget proposal adviser said. Salehuddin Ahmed said that the source on the Internet service has been reduced from 5 percent to 5 percent. Besides, the turnover tax of mobile operators has been reduced from 2 percent to 5.5 percent.

If this proposal is passed, the Internet will reduce the price. At the same time, the cost of mobile service- talk time, SMS will also be reduced.
