The Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI) has recommended the acquittal of 113 people, including ousted Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, in an attempted murder case during the July popular uprising.
The Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI) has recommended the release of 113 people including ousted Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, her son Sajib Wazed Joy, in an assassination attempt case related to the July uprising period.
This law and order organization has submitted the final report to the Judicial Court of Dhaka in this regard.
The court has fixed the date of next hearing of the case on February 13th.
According to the statement of this case, Shahed Ali was injured at Dhanmondi-27 in Dhaka on the way back home after work on the fourth of August 2024.
In this incident, a case of attempt to murder was filed in Dhanmondi police station, accusing 113 people including Sheikh Hasina.
Later, when the PBI investigated the incident, the injured were not found.
Later, citing factual errors, the investigation report recommended the release of all including Sheikh Hasina.
