A terrible fire broke out in a cloth godown on the third floor of a building in Bhanga Press area of ​​Demra in the capital. Ten units of fire service are working to control the fire.

On Thursday (March 21) at around 11:30 p.m., the fire service headquarters reported the fire.

Fire Service media officer Anwarul Islam confirmed this information to the media.

He said, at 11:30 pm on Thursday night, we received news that a fire has occurred in a cloth godown on the third floor of a four-storey building in Demra Bhanga Press area of ​​the capital. After that, the first unit reached the spot to control the fire at 11:45 pm. After that, a total of 6 units from Demra, Postgola and Siddique Bazar fire stations reached the spot and are working to control the fire. Later four more units were added. Initially, the cause of the fire and the extent of the damage were not known.
