Abul Kalam Azad, father of RisingBD Chief Correspondent Hasan Mahmud passed away (Inna Lillahi wa Inna Ilaihi Raziun). He was 63 years old.
He died at his home in Sanarpar, Narayanganj at 12:30 PM on Wednesday (March 27). His son Hasan Mahmud confirmed the death.
The family informed that Abul Kalam Azad was ill for a long time. He was suffering from heart disease. He will be buried after the funeral at Bhuiya House in his village, Feni.
Abul Kalam Azad Adamji was the accounting officer of Jute Mills. He retired in 1988. Later he did business.
