How Palestinians are spending the last days of Ramadan

Displaced people in Gaza spend the last days of Ramadan reading the Koran and praying. Almost all residents of the Gaza Strip have been displaced by the barbaric Israeli airstrikes. Most of them have taken refuge in Rafah. Currently there are about 1.3 million people in Rafah. Besides, many are scattered in other regions.

On Saturday (April 6), the Turkish news agency Anadolu News published some pictures of ordinary people in Gaza's Deir el-Balah. In which it can be seen that the displaced people are spending time reading the Quran during the last days of the holy month of Ramadan.

One picture shows a young woman sitting next to a tent reciting the Qur'an. Another picture shows an old lady reading the Quran with her hand on it. Another picture shows a teenage girl reading the Quran with a baby in her arms next to a polythene tent.

On October 7 last year, the Palestinian armed group Hamas attacked various illegal settlements in Israel. After that, the Israeli army started to carry out barbaric attacks on Gaza from that day.

Their attacks have killed more than 33,000 Palestinians in Gaza so far. Besides, more than 80 thousand people were injured.

After the end of the holy month of Ramadan, all Muslims around the world prepare for Eid. However, there is no Eid joy among the common people of Gaza. Because most of the people in this small valley are starving.
