Patuakhali University of Science and Technology (Paviprobi) has conducted the admission test for the first year undergraduate 'A' unit science department of 24 public universities under the cluster of 2023-24 academic year. The exam was held on Saturday (April 27) from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.
Out of a total of 850 candidates, 783 participated in Paviprabi Centre. University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Swadesh Chandra visited the feudal halls.
Professor Muhammad Ali, the treasurer of the university, registrar professor Dr. Santosh Kumar Basu, the convenor of the admission test, Professor Dr. Purnendu Biswas and Deputy Registrar of Public Relations Department Emran Hossain. GST Batch Admission Test Chief Professor Chinmoy Bepari confirmed the attendance rate at 92 percent.
After visiting the halls, the university vice-chancellor professor Dr. Swadesh Chandra Samant said that the admission test of 24 public universities under GST cluster was held simultaneously across the country. The admission test was conducted in a peaceful atmosphere at the Paviprabi center, without any untoward incident. The admission test was successfully completed with the cooperation of teachers, officials, employees, Pobiprobi ists Association, Pobiprobi Rover Scouts, Pobiprobi BNCC, medical team, law enforcement forces and Ansar members.
