A fine of Tk 5,000 in a mobile court operation in Nalitabari

A mobile court has destroyed a person's fine and multiple dredger machines in the Nalitabari upazila of Sherpur.

On Tuesday (April 22), the operation operated by Rabradeam, Rajakhalpara and Fakirpara areas of the upazila of the upazila was destroyed by five mini dredger machines, 3 bamboo macha and large amount of pipes used to lift sand. At the same time, a man named Yusuf Ali (1) was fined Tk 5,000 for lifting sand.

The operation was jointly organized by Nalitabari Upazila Executive Officer and Executive Magistrate Farzana Akhter Bobby and Assistant Commissioner (Land) and Executive Magistrate Anisur Rahman. At that time, a group of police, village police and volunteers participated in the operation.

In this regard, UNO Farzana Akhter Bobby said, “Such campaigns will be conducted regularly in the public interest. Illegal sand lifting will be stopped permanently with the help of law and order and locals.”
