A gust of 60 km/h is expected in 4 regions before evening

According to the Meteorological Department, gusty winds of 45 to 60 km per hour may blow over 4 regions of the country. This information was given in the weather forecast for the country's inland river ports till 6 pm on Wednesday (June 5).

It is said that gusty winds may blow over Rangpur, Dinajpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet regions from the west or north-west at a speed of 45 to 60 km per hour with rain or thunder.

The river ports in these areas have been asked to display warning signal number 1.

Meanwhile, in another notification of the Meteorological Department, most places of Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions and some places of Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna, Barisal and Chittagong divisions may experience light to moderate rain with gusty winds and thunder.

Apart from this, there may be heavy rainfall at some places in Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions.
