A-League leader joins BNP with flowers in Shama Obaid's hand

BNP nominated candidate of Faridpur-2 (Saltha-Nagarkanda) constituency and organizing secretary of the central committee of the party Shama Obaid Islam joined the BNP with a bouquet of flowers in front of the 13th National Assembly elections. Anwar Hossain Mia Nake is an Awami League leader. He is the organizing secretary of Saltha Upazila Awami League.

Awami League leader Anwar Hossain Mia joined the BNP by giving flowers to Shama Obaid in a meeting after visiting the grave of late Atiyar Rahman Kabir Mia, founder president of Saltha Upazila BNP, on Sunday (January 4) afternoon.

After joining BNP, Awami League leader Anwar Hossain Mia said, I was persecuted during the previous Awami League government. I have been the victim of many attacks. So now, inspired by the ideals of Shaheed Ziaur Rahman and Begum Khaleda Zia, I joined BNP to strengthen the hands of BNP's nominated candidate Shama Obaid. In the future, I will work for the party as a worker of BNP, God willing.

Under the chairmanship of BNP leader Hafizur Rahman Munnu Mia, former President of Saltha Upazila BNP Siddiqur Rahman Talukdar, Vice President Shahin Matubbar, former President of Nagarkanda Upazila BNP Habibur Rahman Babul Talukdar, Senior Joint General Secretary of Saltha Upazila BNP Khandkar Khairul Basar Azad, former Upazila Chairman Ohiduzzaman, former Vice Chairman Asad were present.
