The identity of the owner of the luxury car worth approximately two crore rupees lying on the road in Dhanmondi area of ​​the capital has been found.

The car was lying on the road in front of Baitul Aman Mosque in Dhanmondi since Sunday (August 18) morning, but the owner could not be found. Finally, the car was confirmed to belong to former Home Minister and Awami League leader Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal. It is not known who left the car of the famous brand Land Cruiser there.

It is known that the Dhaka Metro-G 21-8456 car was lying on the road since Sunday morning. The car was there all day but there was no sign of the owner. As the heirless car was in the same place for a long time, someone opened the looking glass of the car and took it away. Finally, in the middle of the day, with the help of the army, the car was wrecked and taken to another place. Initially, the name of the owner of the car was not known, but later it was confirmed by the media that it belonged to the former Home Minister. Originally, a social media post on Facebook raised the question of whose car the matter was discussed.

Junaid Kamal posted a post about the car on Facebook's traffic alert group at around 1 am, saying someone left a Land Cruiser on the road in front of Baitul Aman Mosque in Dhanmondi. The car has been lying here since Sunday morning, the car is unlocked. Does anyone know the owner?

Eyewitnesses said that the car was lying since morning. Seeing the car in the same place all day, many people get suspicious. After going forward, the car was seen unlocked. They opened it and saw that there was no one inside the car. Although known, no one could reveal the identity of the owner of the car. Finally, after much searching, Dhaka Mail got to know the identity of the owner of the car. By looking at some information and pictures, it has been confirmed that the car belongs to former Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal.

According to information available to the media, the vehicle was purchased on July 31, 2022. But the record was updated on July 28 of the same month. The tax token was issued on August 3, 2022. which expired on July 30. Trustee Certificate dated 3 August 2023. It also expired on August 3. The car will be manufactured in 2022. The empty weight of the vehicle is 2,200 kg and the cargo can be lifted up to 3,220 kg. Fitness of the vehicle was issued on 31 July 2022. Which is valid till January 3, 2027.

Private is mentioned in place of owned. Asaduzzaman Khan and his father deceased Ashraf Ali Khan have been given in place of the car owner's name. And the registration of the vehicle has been completed in Mirpur BRTA.

Also given in place of tax TIN number (511111255056) for purchase of the vehicle. The owner's mobile phone number is given as 01711-541569.

Based on the number given by the owner for the last purchase of the car, calls are made to the apps True Caller which identifies that number and identity. Asaduzzaman Khan's name shows there.

It has also been confirmed that the car belongs to the former Home Minister after seeing another picture. In that picture, the home minister and some people are taking pictures with him while buying the car. Apart from the minister, former DC of Tejgaon division of DMP HM Azimul Haque and some close people of the minister were present in the picture. They also took a joint photo at the showroom after buying the car. The car was parked next to it. It matches the number plate of the recovered vehicle on the front.

To be more sure about the car, some dignitaries of Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal's area Tejgaon were contacted at midnight. Some people who know the former home minister said they saw the car on Facebook. Seeing the number plate of the car, he recognized it as belonging to former Home Minister Asaduzzaman Kamal.

After the fall of Sheikh Hasina's government on August 5 in the face of the popular uprising of the students, the Awami League leaders at all levels, starting from the minister, went into hiding. Former Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal also covered his neck. However, no trace of him has been found so far. After the fall of the government, the houses of many Awami League leaders were attacked. In such a situation, the driver kept the former home minister's car in another garage. But recently, after the start of the campaign, the panic increased. As a result, many locals believe that the driver left the car on that road of Dhanmondi and ran away.
