A young man returned to prison to take revenge for the murder in Comilla was killed by slitting his throat

In Comilla, a young man who returned to jail to avenge an old murder was killed by slitting his throat. Shiben Biswas, OC (Investigation) of Comilla Kotwali Model Police Station said that the incident took place at Paschim Majhigacha area of ​​Comilla's Adarsh ​​Sadar Upazila around 3:30 pm on Friday.

Citing the locals, he said that the deceased (35) Md. Nasir is the son of Shafiqul Islam of West Majhigacha area. On March 20, 2022, Masuk Mia, son of the deceased Farid Mia of West Majhigacha area, was killed. Nasir was the number two accused in the murder case. Nasir was arrested in that case. After that, he was in jail for a long time on the orders of the court. Nasir was released from jail on bail a few days ago. On hearing the news, Masuk's relatives would have wanted to kill Nasir to 'revenge the murder'.

Meanwhile, five members of Masuk's family chased Nasir after finding him alone near the house at noon. After being chased, Nasir fell into a pond next to the house. At that time, Masuk's relatives killed Nasir by slitting his throat and fled leaving the body behind. Later, the police reached the spot and recovered the body. An operation is underway to arrest those involved in the murder. And the process of sending the body to Comilla Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy is going on. He also said that the victim's family is preparing for the case in this incident.
