A youth was arrested by RAB with a domestically made LG in Manikchari

Manikchari of Khagrachari with a locally made LG. A team of RAB-7 of Chittagong arrested a young man named Lokman Hossain (24). He was arrested from the Chittagong-Khagrachari road near Madan Gopal Sewashram in Gachchabil area of ​​the upazila at around 3:30 pm on Tuesday (June 4).

According to the police, RAB had information about the arrested person's involvement in arms trade for a long time. As a result, RAB-7 recovered a country-made LG, two rounds of cartridges and a motorcycle used by him from Chittagong-Khagrachari road adjacent to Madan Gopal Sevashram in Gachchabil area of ​​the upazila on Tuesday afternoon on the basis of confidential information. Later he was taken to RAB-7 office in Hathazari, Chittagong for questioning. Lokman Hossain, involved in the arms trade, who was arrested around 10 pm after preliminary interrogation, was handed over to Manikchari police station.

Confirming the truth of the incident, the OC of Manikchari police station. Iqbal Uddin said that a case has been filed under the Arms Act against the person arrested by RAB for involvement in arms trade. It will be handed over to the learned court on Wednesday.
