A youth was killed in a collision between two motorcycles in Chuadanga

A youth named Tutul Khan (25) was killed in a motorcycle collision in Chuadanga. Another motorcycle driver and one other passenger were injured in the incident.

The accident took place in Kirongachi village of Chuadanga Sadar Upazila on Monday (June 3) evening. Tutul is the eldest among three brothers and sisters.

The deceased is the son of Khokon Mandal of Gaherpur village of Garaitupi union of Tutul Sadar upazila. The injured are Abul Hossain (56) son of Tufan Mandal of Bahalgachi village of Shankarachandra union of the same upazila and Milan Hossain (24) son of Ahad Ali of Gaherpur village of Garaitupi union.

As Abul Hossain's condition is critical, he has been referred to Rajshahi Medical. Besides, Milan Hossain is being treated at Sadar Hospital.

The deceased's uncle, Masum, said Tutul Chuadanga is a Master's student at Government College. He was supposed to go to Romania for higher education next month. But in this accident, all the dreams of the family fell on the road.

Anwar Hossain, OC (Investigation) of Chuadanga Sadar Police Station, said that in the evening, two motorcycles collided at a place called Kirrongachi on the way back to his home Gaherpur from Chuadanga city. At that time, Tutul Hossain and two others were seriously injured and admitted to Chuadanga Sadar Hospital. Tutul died at night while undergoing treatment. The work of handing over the body of the deceased is going on. Legal action will be taken in this regard.

Meanwhile, although there was no complaint in this incident, the authorities of Chuadanga Sadar police station did not give the body even though they waited from evening till late night. Later the family spent the night in front of the hospital.

The family complains that the police are harassing them to take the body of the child who died in the accident.
