Abdul Mueed Chowdhury is the new chairman of Biman

Abdul Mueed Chowdhury, a former advisor to the caretaker government, has been appointed as the new chairman of Biman Bangladesh Airlines.

Rumana Yasmin, Senior Assistant Secretary of the Ministry of Private Aviation and Tourism, issued a written notification in this regard yesterday (August 18).

Abdul Mueed has been appointed as the new chairman of Biman Bangladesh Airlines, relieving the former chairman Mustafa Kamal Uddin from his duties.

It is to be noted that Abdul Mueed Chowdhury served as Managing Director and CEO of Biman Bangladesh Airlines from 1991 to 1994. He served as an advisor to the caretaker government led by former Chief Justice Latifur Rahman in 2001.
