Actor Arifin Shubhar's plot of Mujeeb movie is cancelled


The interim government has taken the initiative to cancel all the plots allocated under the reserved quota while the Awami League government was in power. As a part of this, the authorities have decided to cancel the Capital Development Authority (RAJUK) plot allotted to Dhallywood actor Arifin Shubo, who came into discussion with the movie 'Mujib', in the reserved quota. The plot of the film's producer Liton Haider with Arifin Shubo is also being cancelled.

Before this, on November 27 last year, the board meeting of Rajuk decided to allot plots to Shubo and others. After that Shubo Sarkar also accepted a contract against that plot by depositing the prescribed fee. But due to lack of time he could not register the plot.

In the meantime, after the Awami League government was ousted on August 5, various calculations started with the plots allocated for political considerations including the Shubor plot. Following this, Rajuk has decided to cancel the plot of Arifin Shubo and Liton Haider.

However, as per general rules, no plot is being cancelled.'

Arifin Shuvo worked under the direction of Shyam Benegal, a renowned filmmaker from the Indian subcontinent. He played the role of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in the film 'Mujib: Shaper of a Nation'. He took only 1 rupee as remuneration for acting in the film. However, as a reward for portraying the character on screen, he was given 10 khata plots in a special arrangement, the market value of which is more than 10 crore rupees. Similarly, Liton Haider, the producer of the movie 'Chiranjeev Mujib', also got 3 khata plots in Purbachle. Shubo did not respond when contacted to inquire whether he would take any legal action to prevent cancellation of the plot.
