Additional secretaries are 131 people

After the promotion of deputy secretary and joint secretary in the administration, this time the government has promoted the additional secretary.

Ministry of Public Administration has issued a notification promoting 131 joint secretaries as additional secretaries on Sunday.

117 'deprived' officials were promoted to the post of Deputy Secretary last August 13, in view of various movements for promotion by those who were deprived of the post during the previous government. Then on August 18, 201 officials were promoted to the post of joint secretary.

On August 20, 22 more officials were promoted from Deputy Secretary to Joint Secretary. In all, 340 officers have been promoted in the last two weeks. From 9th batch to 18th batch deprived officers have been made additional secretaries.
