The decision to ban Jamaat-Shibir was appealed there. The reports of DGFI, NSI and SB are called for on the basis of this application and the report is submitted to the Ministry of Home Affairs. The three agencies found no involvement in alleged terrorist activities with the Islamic and Islamic Student Camps in Ojamaya. After that, a review panel was constituted as per the requirements of section 19 as per the law. They also did not find any evidence to support the allegations. Accordingly, the matter was presented to the Home Advisor. After his signature, after all the proceedings of the Chief Counsel and the Legal Counsel, it was decided that the notification which was issued in the past, was declared cancelled.

Shishir Monir commented that this decision has been taken according to each section and sub-section of the law and said that the process was a little long. But we also want to obey the law, so that no one has any objection. No one can ever say that Jamaat-e-Islami acted outside the law.
