Bangladesh reached the final after defeating the defending champions India in the Under-20 SAFF Championship. Bangladesh youth won 4-3 in Tribeca.

In the 36th minute of the match held in Nepal on Monday, Asadul Mollah scored the first goal to give Bangladesh the lead. Later in the 75th minute India's Ricky Methi Haubum paid that goal. However, as there were no more goals in the second half, Tribeca decided the match.

India missed the first shot in the tiebreaker but scored in the next three shots. However, the Bangladeshi footballer did not miss any of the four shots and reached the final.

Bangladesh will fight to win the SAFF Under-20 title on August 28. In the final match, Bangladesh Youth's rival is host Nepal. Earlier, Bangladesh lost against Nepal in the group stage.
