An old man died after being crushed by a tin shed in Kushtia

Due to the natural disaster caused by Cyclone Remal, an old man named Badsha Mallik (60) died after being buried under the tin roof of his house in Mirpur, Kushtia. He died on Monday (May 27) morning in Daspara village of Chithlia union of the upazila. Badsha Mallik is the son of deceased Khabir Mallik of the same village.

According to Kushtia District Commissioner's office, the tin shed of the house of Badsha Mallik, a resident of Daspara village, collapsed due to the impact of Cyclone Remal this morning. He was buried under the shed and died.

Kushtia district relief and rehabilitation officer Muhammad Abdur Rahman said that a letter has been given to the ministry from the relief and rehabilitation branch of the district commissioner's office to provide financial support to the family of the deceased.
