Angry Chihuahua Mix Leaves Internet in Stitches: ‘Exorcism’

A feisty chihuahua and Pomeranian mix has left the internet hysterical after he had a demonic outburst.

The pint-sized white and black pooch, named Brodie Escobar (@brodee813), has gone viral after he yapped and snapped at his owner.

In the video, Brodie, a pomchi, barks croakily from the couch as his owner tries to calm him down.

“You gonna be nice? No, you’re just taking a breath. Oh, wow. Tell me how you feel, bro. Tell me. You’re mad? Yeah. Are you sad? Oh, you’re sad too. You wanna talk about it?” Brodie’s owner asked him in the video which garnered 634,100 likes and 4.2 million views.

As the video progresses, Brodie’s owner points at her defiant pup and says: “You be nice.” But despite her best efforts, the little dog remains as feisty as ever.

Pomchis, a mix between Pomeranian and chihuahuas, are known for their bold personalities and vocal tendencies, according to Dog Time.

Pomchis are a spirited hybrid breed, blending the playful, affectionate nature of Pomeranians with the bold, confident attitude of chihuahuas.

Despite their small size, pomchis are known for their big personalities, often displaying a mix of loyalty, protectiveness, and energy.

They thrive in homes where they can be the center of attention, forming strong bonds with their owners. However, their chihuahua side can sometimes make them a bit stubborn, while their Pomeranian lineage contributes to their tendency to bark frequently.

Small dogs, like Brodie, often exhibit more aggressive behaviors because they feel the need to compensate for their size, a phenomenon known as “small dog syndrome,” where their fierceness may come from a result of fear or even because of an owners tendency to infantilize their little pooch due to their size.

Some viewers have even compared Brodie to another famous internet dog, Pudgy. Pudgy, also known as Pudgy Woke, was a viral sensation known for his bizarre sounds and mischievous behavior.

One viewer, Erika, asked: “Has Pudgy been reborn?”

Other comments were equally hilarious, with one viewer saying: “My current mental state,” and another comparing Brodie’s voice to theirs after a concert.

One fan, Michelle, said: “There’s my fluffy little ball of concentrated evil!”

“Brodie always chooses violence,” said one viewer.

“Have you ever tried an exorcism?” asked one fan, and the dog mom replied: “Haha, we need to lol.”
