Anis-Salman Sadek-Ziaul in jail after remand

After being remanded for various periods, Salman Rahman, the former government's adviser on art performance, former law minister Anisul Haque, former MP and general secretary of Dhaka Metropolitan South Awami League Sadek Khan, and former director general of MTNC, retired military officer Brigadier General Ziaul Haque, have been sent to prison through the court.

It is known that after the remand, they were produced in the Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate's Court at seven o'clock in the morning, and they were sent to jail at eight o'clock in the morning.

However, a court source confirmed that Salman F Rahman and Anisul Haque were remanded for another five days and Ziaul Haque was remanded for ten days in two cases when they were produced in the court in the morning.

Confirming the matter, Dhaka Central Jail Senior Jail Superintendent Subhash Kumar Ghosh said that they have been sent to jail through the court this morning. They are incarcerated in the jail with a division as first-class VIP prisoners. However, I have come to know that the remand application of Salman F Rahman, Anisul Haque and Ziaul Haque has been granted. In that case, if they are sent from the concerned police station with the remand application paper, they will be handed over from the jail to the proper authorities.
