Anwarul president and editor of Bhurungamari Press Club election is Montu

The election of the Executive Committee of Bhurungamari Press Club of Kurigram was held. Anwarul Haque (Dainik Itte Faq) and Emdadul Haque Montu (Dainik Khola Ka Gaj) were elected unopposed in the election held at the Press Club Bhavan on Sunday (September 01) night.

Prior to this, the election appeal was announced. Nomination forms are sold for all positions of the executive council of 13 members of the club. After checking the nomination papers submitted for each position, the Election Commission announced that they were all elected unopposed as there were no rivals.

Aminur Rahman Babu (Dainik Ka Le Kanth and Daily Tribunal) performed the duties of the Chief Election Commissioner in this election. He was assisted by two election commissioners Haroon Or Rashid Prince (daily Ma Nab Kanth) and Azizul Haque (daily Dinka Law).
