Miscreants shot a former UP chairman in Lohagara, Narail. He was first sent to a local hospital and later to Dhaka with bullet wounds in his chest and back. The incident took place on Friday (May 10) evening in Mangalhata area of ​​Mallikpur Union of the upazila.

The name of the injured person is Mustafa Kamal (48). He is the former chairman of that union and local Awami League leader.

Doctor on duty of Upazila Health Complex. Subrata Kumar Kundu said that Mustafa Kamal has been referred to Dhaka Medical College Hospital for first aid treatment due to gunshot wounds on his chest and back.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Lohagarh police station Kanchan Kumar Roy said that the police were immediately sent there after hearing the news of the shooting. Police are on the scene. The matter is being investigated.
