Awami League leader detained at the border while fleeing to India

BGB has arrested former upazila chairman Kamal Ahmad from inside Bangladesh while trying to enter India illegally through Sylhet's Jaintapur border.

BGB's Jaintapur BOP patrol team arrested him from Gobari border area at 7 pm on Saturday (September 7). The matter was confirmed by the captain of Jokiganj Battalion (19 BGB) Lt. Col. Khondkar Md. Asadunnabi

Kamal Ahmad is a member of Sylhet district Awami League and president of Jaintapur Awami League.
