After the recent political pot-change in Bangladesh, former Awami League MP Bahauddin Bahar of Comilla-6 constituency has gone into hiding in Kolkata. Her daughter Tahsin Baha, former mayor of Comilla City Corporation, hid with her. Currently, both father and daughter are under the shelter of a political leader in Kolkata.
An all-India media source of India called 'OP India' said that after crossing the border 10 days ago, they are staying in Calcutta under the umbrella of a political leader. For this they have to multiply 10 thousand rupees every day. The media claims that they can take political asylum from India to London.
Bahar's house in Comilla's Manoharpur Munsefbari area was vandalized soon after Sheikh Hasina resigned as Prime Minister and fled Bangladesh on August 5. At that time Bahauddin and his daughter Tahsin Bahar left Bangladesh following the path of Awami League leaders and activists.
It is known that on the night of August 29, Tahsin Baha entered India through Burichong Upazila Charanal border of Comilla. Since then he has become quite active on social media. After spending two days in Buxnagar area of Tripura state of India, we arrived in Kolkata on 31st. And a businessman close to the influential Awami League leader helped them enter India illegally.
