For the first time, Barisal University (Bobby) has started the Baisakhi Women's Entrepreneurship Fair. The two-day long fair was organized on Tuesday (May 14) on the street in front of Bangamata Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib Hall of the university. The students of the hall said that this is the first event of our hall. Through this, girls can become entrepreneurs and show something. We want the authorities to come up with more modern arrangements.
Hena Rani Biswas, a fourth year student of the University's mathematics department and an entrepreneur, thanked the principal of Zarin Tasnim Hall for taking this initiative and said that we have provided various food stalls including rice bread, pies, drinks in the fair. I have invited all the people of Barisal to visit my stall. I hope they will understand that we women are ahead in all fields at home and outside.
Tuli Khatun, a second-year student of accounting science and information system department and entrepreneur, said, “Our shop is called Bichitra.” Here we are selling Naga Jhal Muri, Pineapple Paste, Rasgolla, Momo, Mango Pickle. Tried to keep everything price friendly. This is our first business, so we were a little afraid of what to do. But now it feels good because of the satisfactory feedback from the customers. Thanks to the university authorities and hall principal for giving opportunities to girls to become entrepreneurs.
Currently, the number of suicides in the country is increasing day by day. Therefore, if the girls are busy with some work, their mental stress will be less. Henna Rani Biswas. He said, I have seen many students drop out due to financial difficulties. If they can be financially well off by doing some work besides studying, that's why we have this initiative today. In this, girls can stay mentally healthy and focus on studies. He said that more such initiatives will be taken in the future.
