Barrister Suman gave a video message from an unknown place

After the fall of Sheikh Hasina's government, former member of Parliament, Barrister Saidul Haque Sumon, opened his mouth. He claims to have been with the quota reform movement or the anti-discrimination movement from the beginning. At the same time, he expressed regret saying that he could not explain being with the students.

He gave this information in a video message on his verified Facebook page after Monday (August 19) evening. However, barrister Suman did not give any information about his location in the video.

Barrister Sumon said, 'I was in favor of quota reform in the students' quota reform movement or the anti-discrimination student movement from the beginning and I was also in favor of the prosecution of those who were injured and killed in this movement. But my failure is that I could not convince you. I apologize for this failure to all my followers, those who expected from me.

He said, 'The structural reforms you are asking for now, but I have been working for these reforms for many years. War against corruption, among the two-three people who have been vocal against corruption in the last 15 years, you may find me one. I filed a case against S. Alam for money laundering.'

Abdus Sobhan Golap, who is the campaign secretary of the current committee of Awami League, I myself filed a case as a plaintiff regarding his nine houses in America. I filed a case against the former IGP of Police Benazir Ahmed as a plaintiff in the ACC. I spoke against him in the national parliament. Case against Tax Commissioner Motiur, case against Salam Murshedi's house, talking about Kazi Salahuddin in football corruption. I personally filed a case against the officer in charge (OC) Moazzem, later he was sentenced to 8 years under the Digital Security Act.'

Barrister Sumon said, 'You know how much risk there was in my life. Two weeks before the start of the quota movement, I was forced to hold a press conference to say that my life was at risk. So I always tried in this battle. Now the war you have started, the war led by the students, the war against corruption, I always pray for this war. I will always try to participate in this war from my place.'

Model and actress Pia Jannatul, who works as an associate lawyer in Barrister Suman's chambers, was contacted to inquire about Barrister Suman's whereabouts. In this regard, the actress said, 'I don't know where Barrister Suman is at present.'

Barrister Suman was elected in Habiganj-4 (Chunarughat-Madhavpur) constituency in the 12th National Parliament Election. Before this, he came up for discussion on various social issues on Facebook.
