'Be prepared if you get judged before Tariq Rahman'

BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi strongly criticized the Prime Minister's statement and said, 'Yesterday the Prime Minister said that Tariq Rahman will be brought to justice and he has said it many times before. I would like to say to the Prime Minister, before bringing Tariq Rahman to the country and implementing the trial, be prepared for whether your trial is done. The situation is such that, you start sinking, and you can't find the bottom.'

He said these things during a human chain organized by the Dhaka District BNP in front of the National Press Club on Monday (May 27) to demand the release of Dhaka District BNP President Khandaker Abu Ashfaq.

Addressing the Prime Minister, Ruhul Kabir Rizvi further said, 'You have completely destroyed the country's economy. The amount of interest which is much more than the loan taken, that interest has to be paid. Prime Minister, be ready for the judgment that you will be judged with the interest of the sins of your government. Then you will talk about the Acting Chairman of BNP. Your Chhatra League has committed robberies, your Chhatra League has molested women, your Jubo League has killed around 50 people in these 16-17 years. Will not be judged for these sins in the law of this country?'

This senior joint secretary general of BNP said, 'Those whom you have made MP have smuggled the money. Their opponents have left some pieces in Kolkata, now they can't find them. How are they MP? Your prime minister is responsible for this. You made MPs of mafia, robbers, murderers. The responsibility is not on you? Will these terrible sins go away? Will you get over it?'

Rizvi said, 'Whoever you consider as your Lord, whom you consider as your teacher, Modi Sahib is saying in India that he is the messenger of God. If your lords consider themselves angels of God, do you consider yourself as something that there will be no judgment for the sin that surrounds you? Whose ambassador do you think the Prime Minister? Every misdeed, every wrongdoing will be judged in this world. There are examples of this in the world.
