Buildings are surrounded in Gulshan on suspicion of robbery, operation is underway

A robbery has been reported in a multi-storied building in Gulshan-2 area of ​​the capital. The police reached the spot after receiving the information. Locals said that some fled on sensing the presence of law and order forces, but some were arrested. However, the truth of this news could not be confirmed. However, till the latest news, the building is still being raided.

Locals surrounded the building on Friday (September 6) midnight thinking that several robbers were staying in the building. The building houses several private institutions including Exim Bank, Padma.

According to the locals, some miscreants entered the Finance Square building on Road No. 103 with two cars and several bikes. This group of suspected robbers entered the building while wearing masks and the security personnel tied their hands and faces. Later, the local residents and the police ran away from the scene.

Several people were arrested by Gulshan Police Station. However, several escaped inside the building. Since then, the locals along with the law and order forces have taken a position under the building.

As of last word, police raids are underway at the building around 6am today Saturday (September 7).
