Bus lost control in Jokiganj ditch, 7 injured

A passenger bus lost control and fell into a ditch in Jokiganj, Sylhet. At least 7 people were injured in this incident.

The accident took place at Lamargram on the Jokiganj-Atgram road of the upazila at around 3:30 pm on Thursday (May 30).

According to the police, a bus carrying passengers from Jokiganj to Sylhet reached Lamargram area of ​​Jokiganj-Atgram road and suddenly lost control and fell into the ditch. Seven passengers were injured in the bus. One of them was sent to Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College Hospital with serious injuries.
Zakiganj Police Station Inspector (Investigation) Sukant Chowdhury said that one of the injured was seriously injured in the incident. First aid was given to the rest. Other passengers in the bus got off the bus safely.
