Death toll rises to 4 in Bogra bus-private car collision The accident took place at Erulia area of Bogra-Naogaon regional highway at around 10:30 am on Saturday (April 6). The matter was confirmed by SI Abdur Rahim of Bogra Sadar Police Station.
One of the victims has been identified. He is Fahim Hossain (50), Vice President of Bogra Motor Workers Union.
According to the police, the private car was going from Bogra to Naogaon. On the way, there was a collision with a passenger bus from Naogaon to Bogra in front of Erulia High School in Bogra Sadar. This caused the private car to twist and turn. Three people died on the spot.
3 more people were injured. On receiving the information, the fire service personnel cut the mangled private car and rescued the injured. Three seriously injured were admitted to Bogra Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital while another one died while undergoing treatment.
