Chance of rain with thunder in 8 regions of the country

In addition to rain with thunder in many parts of the country, the heat wave may subside in some places, said the Meteorological Department. This information was given in the weather forecast till 6 pm on Monday (June 3).

It said, the extension of low pressure is extending from West Bengal through southwest Bangladesh to northwest Bay of Bengal. Southwest Monsoon has advanced to Dhaka, Barisal, Chittagong, Sylhet, Mymensingh, Rangpur and Rajshahi divisions. Conditions are favorable for further advance of southwest monsoon.

In this situation, between 6 pm on Monday in many places of Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions; Some places of Dhaka, Rajshahi and Chittagong divisions and one or two places of Khulna and Barisal divisions may experience light to moderate rain with gusty winds or thundershowers. Along with this, there may be moderate to heavy rainfall at some places in Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions.

Apart from this, mild heat wave is flowing over Dhaka, Tangail, Faridpur, Madaripur, Rajshahi, Pabna, Sirajganj, Rangpur, Moulvibazar, Chandpur, Noakhali, Bagerhat, Jessore, Barisal, Patuakhali and Bhola districts and it may subside in some places.
